I recently went on a tour inside the Second Avenue Subway tunnel on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, a long-awaited project that is still under construction. Phase 1 is expected to be completed by December 2016.

A few weeks ago I traveled to my home state of Texas to photograph Erin & John’s wedding weekend. Not only was it special to me to shoot a wedding in my beloved Texas, but even more so that the bride and I grew up on the same street. Erin and her younger sister Lindsay – who I grew up playing soccer with and still play here in NYC – both live in Brooklyn as well, so many years later, we’re once again neighbors!
Many friends and family I knew growing up attended or were part of the wedding, and it was a joy to capture the weekend of festivities at Carleton Carleton Ranch in Franklin, TX, a beautiful and serene ranch owned for generations by close family friends of Erin’s.
The weekend was nothing short of joyous – fun, charming and Texas to the core.
Congrats, Erin and John!

A couple weeks ago I shot some portraits of Jeremy Gold, a musician who recently moved to Brooklyn from upstate New York. We took some casual shots in Fort Greene Park, nearby streets, and inside a local bar.
